Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Hostara ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Hostara is a property management application for iOS designed to help short-term rental hosts manage properties, reservations, finances, and guest communications. The App integrates with third-party services including Airbnb, Booking.com, Stripe, and others via APIs and iCal feeds.

Subscriptions & Billing

Hostara offers auto-renewable subscriptions managed through Apple's App Store. By starting a subscription, you agree to the following:

• A 3-day free trial is available for new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period.
• After the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically at the selected price (monthly or yearly).
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• To cancel, go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Hostara.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Hostara only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Use the App to store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services
• Share your account credentials with third parties

Third-Party Services

Hostara integrates with third-party services including Airbnb, Booking.com, Stripe, Firebase, Supabase, Resend, RevenueCat, and Anthropic. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective terms and privacy policies of those services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

AI Features

Hostara uses Claude AI (by Anthropic) to provide price recommendations, guest guides, and smart notifications. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI recommendations and are not liable for any decisions made based on AI output.

Data & Privacy

Your use of Hostara is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described therein.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Hostara — including but not limited to the App design, code, text, graphics, and logos — are owned by Hostara and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Hostara is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hostara and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunities.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Belgrade, Serbia.
